This page lists the sources used in developing The Shelves: Seven Public Libraries in Jakarta. The information in this blog was collected from official websites, official social media accounts, media articles, visitor reviews, and direct observation. These sources helped support the accuracy of the library profiles, including location, access, facilities, collections, programs, and visitor experience.
Content Sources
The main references used for this blog include official websites and social media accounts from each library or cultural center. Additional information was taken from supporting articles, Google Maps reviews, and direct observation during visits to the selected libraries.
Image Credits
Most images used in this blog were taken during direct observation visits. Some visual references were also supported by official websites, official social media posts, or publicly available media sources. All images are used for educational and informational purposes as part of this final project.
Direct Observation
Direct observation was conducted to understand the layout, ambience, facilities, visitor flow, and overall experience of each library. The observation results were used to support the descriptive sections of the articles, especially the Space & Area and How It Feels to Spend Time Here sections.
